I am just back, and wholly re-energized, from an awesome writers’ residency in Bangladesh organized by Arif Anwar, author of The Storm, and where my mentor was Omar El Akkad, author of American War and What Strange Paradise.
This photo essay celebrates the hard-working people of Bangladesh.

That’s so interesting that you’d visit Bangladesh all the way from Montreal. Nice pics that capture slices of life there, and I’d be curious to know more about your experience. Keep on keeping on, fellow writer!

Please do! Even as someone who lives pretty close to Bangladesh (at least compared to Montreal), I never thought of visiting that country. So it’d be great to live vicariously through you.
